Starting Thursday, March 18 at 7:30 pm, The Slam at Shadow Spoken Word Throwdown begins with your host- nationally ranked spoken word artist Lucifury. 

All year, we will invite the best spoken word artists to compete for a chance at a cash prize and the opportunity to host next year's series...if they can take down Lucifury.

Tickets are $5, and $10 at the door.

SIMPLY SIMONE

Under the masterful direction of Hugo Jon Sayles, Shadow Theatre Company brings to life child prodigy, jazz superstar, civil rights activist, and political exile Nina Simone.  Using the voices of four female singers representing various stages of Nina's life and rich artistic legacy of the music icon.  Songs include "I Love You Porgy", "The Look of Love" and "I put a Spell on You", among others.

Regular run tickets are $18.00 per person and matinees feature talkback discussions with the cast.
